This beer is me and my wife's preferred beer. We have found that Landshark is perfect on a hot day (it refreshes, doesn't sit in your stomach like you just drank a pork chop), and it seems to compliment food very well. Everything from pizza to sautees with fish in them. This beer is not for the bitter beer lovers, but it is way better than Corona or Dos Equis. If you like to eat while enjoying a beer then this one is awesome.

Bought a six pack because of its name. Drank one because I love beer. Gave the other 5 away because it really, really, really sucks. (Yes, I'm north of the Mason-Dixon line.)

@Chris - Here's what one homebrewer suggested regarding your situation.

"I would probably go with a mild German hop like hallertau. They're pretty common in lagers, though any noble hop would do."

LOL. Okay, that's fair. I just like the clean and crispness of the beer and I am trying to find something. I would appreciate any info on that if you find out.

What type of Hops are used in Landshark?? I'm home-brewing and I like this beer a lot. I'm curious about the type of hops they use here.

Thanks for the comment Joel! I can't say I have the same enthusiasm about Land Shark that you do, but I can say that I'm happy that you enjoy it. Which is what this is all about, really!

Lank Shark is my favorite beer bar none! Its not too light like a bud light or too bitter like all other beers and the best thing is you can drink a six pack and feel good and not bloated and sick like with most other beers. Cant believe AB makes this stuff cause i hate all their other beers.

@Melvin - thanks. Being my first beer review ever, I suppose I was going a little easy! If I were to have reviewed this beer now, it would likely get a much lower rating!
