@Haley - Yeah, its definitely not a 'normal' beer. To me, it tasted like bad home-made wine!

@Eamon - HA, the purple head was different, that's for sure! The picture up there isn't so good, but you can make out the oddness of it!

Thanks for the comments!

For a brief second you can almost taste the beer...then the blueberry juice gets in the way. The only good thing abot this beer is that it is strong. I have never been a fan of the blueberry beers but thought I would give this a try. The color throws you off at first. The color of the head will be purple. Almost like they made a beer and added blueberry juice to it. YUCK

I liked the first sip, and the next couple sips while it was ice cold. But for a BEER, it was too sweet for me. I liked flavored beers, but this is much more of a wine cooler. Their really isn't a good beer taste in this stuff. I have a feeling I will wake up tomorrow slightly sick from all the sugar. I'm glad I tried it though, been wanting to for a while. If you liked sweet drinks, this is for you. This should be for all females who don't like beer. Try this and you will like it! I promise.

This is really a great tasting beer and it has one hell of a kick. It is a little pricey and hard to find but other than that, I really enjoy its full-bodied sweet refreshing taste.

Tracy, thanks for the comment. I'm not sure if I agree with the Lambic comparison, but I do get what you're saying about it. I just thought it tasted like wine. I suppose I should pick up another bottle at some point to re-evaluate this brew. It remains very popular!

Hi Scott, et al. I absolutely love Wild Blue Beer. I don't care if they call it X or Y or whatever, It is good stuff. I used to spend $$$ per month on my favorite Zinfandel. Now I can have 2 or 3 Wild Blu's and I am happy...in many ways...taste buds and head relief, and dollars spent. This Wild Blue by Anheiser-Busch is more similar to a Lambic (beer) than anything else. The flavor is not too sweet, but has a fruit flavor for adult taste buds. If your looking for a malty, hoppy...I don't think so. Your taste buds will be put on a Wild roller coaster. Yea Ha for Wild Blue. Keep it coming.
I hope they keep making it and selling it at my local shop.
I like the fact that with one beer I don't consume too many calories, but enjoy the effect.
