While Beer remains a hobby of mine, I pay for my beers, either at Beer festivals, in my local, or in the supermarket. At the GBBF it costs £10 to get in (got to pay for the hire of the venue I guess) plus £3 for the 'souvenir' glass (optional - you can take your own glass, or return the glasss at the end of teh day for a refund). Beer prices ranged from about £2.50 - £3.80 a pint. Double those prices to get an approximate dollar price. Brokebutstilldrinking – sadly not.
