@Marie- Mother's Milk was one of my first 'WOW' beers. It was my first milk stout and I've been hooked ever since! Keegan Ales is pretty much distributed around the Albany NY area as far as I know - I'm not sure if anyone can get it to you online. As much as I liked this beer, I did think the milk stout from Left Hand was a little better. Left Hand has better distribution, and perhaps you can get that out where you are. Check in and let us know how you make out! :-)

I tried Mother's Milk for the first time in New York last week. WOW! It was awesome! Best beer I have had in a very very long time. How does one buy it online? I live in California and I can't seem to find it here. Help! :-D thanks!

Thanks Scott - now it's 9:30 in the morning and you got me wanting a milk stout! Love the name of this one - I've never seen it down here in NC, sadly.

I'm with you though - I can't find enough milk stouts to satiate my milky desires. I've been drinking the Left Hand Milk Stouts lately and those are pretty wonderful. I may propose a deal for you though - I'll ship you a six pack of The Duck Rabbit Milk Stout - native to NC and one of the Doctor's personal favorites, straight up for a six pack of the Mother's Milk. I think you'll be happy with the trade. Let me know what you think!

That sounds like a nice beer, those roast coffee chocolate hints are really warming on a winter evening.

How strong is it?
