I am a fan of Polish beers. I have tried Lech, Zyviec, Tyskie and Okocim and finad each of them preferable to any of the Miller and Budweiser “rat piss” products brewed in the USA

I actually enjoyed the okacim pilsner quite a bit...but i think it was the setting (a polish festival) that made it so enjoyable. I called around and no body carries Tyske around here...bummer. Nate’s last blog post..Kid Rock Beer and the Stimulus Bill

I have a few British beer reviews in the pipeline, and they should get published before your visit in May. For example - I stumbled across a Samuel Smiths pub in central London the other week that was charging £1.88 for a pint of their excellent 'Old Brewery Bitter' which is about a pound cheaper than other pubs in the area and an excellent pint. I’m jealous about the beers that I can’t find here. I guess it goes to show that location can still be impeding when it comes to getting good beers. You are reminding me that I need to find some other European beers when I come to London in May. I’m always open to suggestions. I’ve enjoyed this company’s Full Pale and their Porter, but I’d like to try these, too.
