I wasn’t really impressed with the Bar Harbor Blueberry Ale from Atlantic Brewing Company, and would likely pass on having it again. Of the three Blueberry Beers I’ve tried so far, I think your best bet is the Blueberry Ale by Blue Point Brewing. Still, many, many people love the Wild Blue – I didn’t but you might want to give it a try and see for yourself.

Mauldon’s Black Adder – A Beer Review
May 28, 2009
The Mauldon family of Sudbury first became involved in brewing in 1795 when Anna Maria Mauldon began brewing at the Bull Hotel in Ballingdon, on the outskirts of Sudbury. The business grew over the years and centuries until it was sold to Greene King in 1960. By then the brewery had an estate of thirty ‘tied’ pubs.
Beer Review – Michelob Brewing Hop Hound
May 25, 2009
I thought Hop Hound was actually decent- despite the super stupid label. I think Hop Hound would make a great ‘gateway beer’ to introduce your macro beer loving friends to something new that isn’t too extreme or fancy.
Beer Review – Rolling Rock
May 22, 2009
Latrobe Brewing Rolling Rock Extra Pale Beer. I was actually happy to review this beer initially because Rolling Rock was my ‘go-to’ beer when I was looking to have a lager (This was before my beer exploration days with The Brew Club) Has Rolling Rock improved or gotten worse since its move to Newark, New Jersey?
Samuel Adams Honey Porter – A Beer Review
May 19, 2009
I enjoyed the overall flavor of the Sam Adams honey porter, but I wasn’t thrilled by the aftertaste or the mouthfeel. I think this is a beer best enjoyed with some food rather than by itself like I had it, but I’d still put forth that this is a very interesting and different type of beer.
