@Mike, if you're ever up in PA, or even (heaven forbid) NJ, make sure you let us know!

@Nate, I agree, its a really tasty style and the more of them I try the better feel I get for which ones I like better than others. This one from Long Trail isn't my favorite overall, but its the one I'm going to having again next. (Well, after the Saranac Belgian White in my fridge.)

As with Nate, we here in Florida don't seem to get distributed by Long Trail and would like to try this in the future. Maybe my next trip to PA or NJ will bring some my way.

Thanks Nate! You should definitely try to find the stuff brewed by them... You won't regret it! ;-)

And Scott... the legend is true!

Thanks Nate. Liz definitely has experience with Long Trail. Legend in Vermont has is that they were able to buy a new fermenter with funds directly accountable to Liz. ;-)

Nice review, you guys always put some experience in your writing.

I have actually never tried anything by long trail as they don't distribute to Ohio, but I would love to try. Maybe when I'm in KC in two weeks I'll search some out.

@Scott, this style is addictive. At first I was put off by Belgian and Belgian Style beers, but now they are my favorite.

Personally, I'm finding that I really like this style of beer, so I've been trying different versions from different brewers. Although I probably wouldn't have given this one from Long Trail 4 stars, (prolly 3.5) I definitely enjoyed it and would have it again.

I thought it was a little more citrus and a little less on the spices in the flavor department whereas the Ommegang Witte was more balanced in that regard - but still I would pick this up again especially during the summer.
