This was was not good.
Simply Beer: I’d suggest you try New Glarus’ Dancing Man Wheat or Schell’s Hefeweizen, it makes this beer pale in comparison.

Thanks Bob – its been a trip so far! Thanks for the suggestion. I’ve been looking for the Grolsch Premium Weizen you reviewed awhile back with no luck – maybe I’ll find their Hefe Weizen!

This all sounds really encouraging, wheat beers haven’t really caught on in the UK, most people try Hoegaarden or Kronenbourg Blanc and then think that’s all there is to it.

Crikey Scott, Wheat Beers, Lambics, you’re on a heck of a journey!

If you can find it, seek out the Grolsch Hefe Weizen, that’s really subtle.

Thanks for posting that – going to have to check it out. I haven’t had too many of this style yet, but I thin I enjoyed the Brooklyn Brewing hefe a little more. Still, the Flying Dog was quite enjoyable!

I think this is on of the best Hefe’s made in the states. We did a Beer Brawl with 9 hefe’s both Us and German, this was the best of the bunch.
