I don't know if you're still doing this or plan to resurrect it, but if so, I run a beer review blog and I'm from NJ. The url is http://beerproof.wordpress.com. Cheers!

Kevin - If you're coming to stay (poor you) I'd sat Troegs Nugget Nectar is a great amber ale, and if you're lucky you'll find the Troegs Brown Ale called 'Rugged Trail' which is supposed to be discontinued but might still be on the shelves at this point. Troegs is out of PA, but its good beer and easily findable in NJ.

Bob, I have a feeling that your Essex is better than my Essex (grew up there, so I can say that!) I'm looking forward to both reviews of the Brew Dog stuff from yourself and Katie as well! Brewery tours? Nice!

I'll be interested to see Katie's Brew Dog review as I have a few of their brews lined up for The Brewclub, including their 18.2% ABV stout!

This geography thing has gotten me thinking, I live in Essex which is often compared with New Jersey (don't get me started) and while I haven't encountered any local beer bloggers I do have a few local breweries so I plan to try and visit them as a project for The Brewclub.

Although I'm not strictly a beer blog (I cover all gastronomy) I definitely love my brews and write them up from time to time....recently posted a piece on Ommegang and now working on one for Brew Dog, out of Scotland.

Cheers!
