@SimplyBeer – I hear ya on the free time concept! For the most part, it IS just a concept! Still, I found this book to be a fun read, and being so local it clicks more I think.

BTW, Mike Pellegrino (the author) is having a book signing tonight (1-7-10) @ the Roseland NJ Library @ 7PM.

Nate, the book is an incredible read, and is full of great pictures. I live here in Jersey, and I had no idea of the history. I think Mike did a great job putting this resource together.

Hey, cool post Scott. I didn’t know that NJ used to be such a major player in the craft scene. From reading your blog and a few other NJ blogs, it is clear that Pellegrino is right…the craft scene is burgeoning.
