was running some errands the day after our latest seemingly endless snowstorm and I came across this gigantic snowman! I thought at first it was some left up Christmas decoration, but its not – its a real snowman!

Heavy Seas Winter Storm is another winter seasonal beer brought to us by the people at Clipper City Brewing Company in Baltimore, MD. This is my first beer review of anything from this brewery, so I’m curious to find out what this beer is about.
Beer Review -Yards Extra Special Ale (ESA)

Overall, the 6% ABV Yard’s Extra Special Ale struck a good cord with me. Its overall look, smell and especially taste really left me impressed. I would certainly buy this beer again, and I think if you’re a fan of English Ales you’ll appreciate this one as well
George Washington – Beer Lover

Did you know that George Washington was into beer? Not only was the first President of the United States into beer, but he had one of the largest distilleries in the country and he helped jump-start the American beer movement!
Southern Tier Porter

I’ve tried a few beers from Southern Tier Brewery, most recently their Imperial Jah-Va, but I’ve also checked out the Southern Tier Krampus and Pumking as well. I really wasn’t even aware that Southern Tier made ‘regular’ beers until I saw this package of Southern Tier Porter on the shelf!
