St. Bernardus Witbier beer exceeded my expectations. I’m hesitant to say it, but of all the Belgian Wit beers I’ve had, I think this may be the best of them.

Today Brewdog announced ‘The End of History” which sounds like it should be a Doctor Who episode, but which they have declared is their last instalment in their “efforts to redefine the limits of contemporary brewing.”

Thunder Hole Ale from Bar Harbor Brewing Company is a brown ale that does not live up to my low expectations!

I recently attended the 2010 International Beer Challenge awards presentation on behalf of The Brew Club. The IBC sees itself (and who am I to argue) as the premier Global awards for packaged (ie bottled beers).

Sierra Nevada Kellerweis is an excellent rendition of the Hefeweisen beer style and makes a great summer beer! No doubt, Sierra Nevada knows how to make beer!
