Samuel Smith’s Old Brewery Pale Ale is a 5% ABV English Pale Ale that pours a nice, clear coppery color. A smart-looking brew indeed! This English beer creates a little bit of a head, but like other Sam Smith’s beers I’ve sampled, it left an impressive amount of lacing on my glass.

Mongoose Lager is a 5% ABV beer that was created to compete head-to-head with Cobra Lager in the English market. Its a good beer and Mongoose Lager does what it sets out to do – and does it rather well!
