If you’ve been following The Brew Club for any amount of time, you’ll know that we throw up (read: vomit) a post just about each and every Monday. Well, today is the first Monday following Thanksgiving, and in recent years its become known as ‘Cyber Monday’.

It seems that for many people, after enjoying the Thanksgiving holiday with friends, family and food, go back to work on Monday and spend the entire day consuming their employer’s bandwidth but help to prop up our fragile consumer-based economy!
I don’t have the numbers, but it seems each year online ‘Cyber Monday’ sales increase. I wonder how this year will fare? Are people going to cut back, splurge? Based on the figures so far, “Black Friday” retail sales this year indicate a strong start.
So, not to let any cyber Monday shoppers down who might happen to pass through this little corner of cyberspace, I thought it would be a good idea to make some beer-related gift shopping suggestions. Hey, its for the damn economy!
And yes, if you happen to buy through one of the links from those pages, we’ll get a little commission. Hopefully, you don’t mind because we’ve got to keep the lights on (or the server running) and every little bit helps! I think each gift suggestion is a good one, but you obviously have to do your own homework and make up your own mind.
First and foremost, check out our Gift Ideas for Beer Lovers page. Its changed a little bit over the years, but I’ve whittled it down to 10 cool gifts that I think any beer lover would appreciate, and there’s something for any budget.

If you don’t want to go there, here’s a quick rundown of what I’ve compiled.
1.) Beer of the Month Club Subscription 2.) Cooper’s Home Brewing Kit 3.) Kindle Pre-Loaded with beer e-books 4.) “Old-fashioned” beer books and videos 5.) Beer glassware 6.) Beer collectibles 7.) Membership to The Homebrew Academy 8.) Kegerator anyone? 9.) Beer-themed clothing 10.) Subscription to Brew Your Own Magazine
Obviously, this is a small list of beer gift suggestions, but it covers everything from books, to equipment, to actually learning to homebrew online. A plethora of suggestions to fit any budget.
So there you have it. The Brew Club’s nod to the beginning of the online buying frenzy that helps keep your employer’s bandwidth filled with packets so that your loved ones can have their stockings filled with packages!
Did I wrap that up nicely or what? (No pun intended!)

I’ll add a couple more:
If your budget stretches to it in these straightened times then Brewdog are offering shares for sale. The minimum investment is £95 and won’t be paying dividends for a while, but there are shareholder exclusive offers, and the money will go to the construction of a new eco-friendly brewery.
Alternatively, check your favourite online auction site, just key in the name of your favourite brewery or beer for glasses, merchandise and some unexpected stuff. My bookshelf is graced by a model tuk-tuk crafted in Thailand from used Singha Beer cans!
Great suggestions, Bob!
