I don’t see many Brooklyn beers here in Blighty, their lager is widely available, but this is only the second Brooklyn brew I’ve seen.
The brewery describes it as “a surprisingly sessionable IPA” and “ludicrously tasty“, let’s see.
Again, it pours a pale golden colour with a white head. There’s not too much nose, some dry pine and citrus, but that’s about it.
The flavour is better, it’s very, very bitter, but in a good way. It’s tasty but not ludicrously so, as a session IPA this stands up well against others I’ve reviewed for The Brewclub.
It won’t set the world on fire, but as a session IPA, it does what it sets out to do.
That makes it worthy of three Brewclub stars.
