Whatever other fruits are in the nose are swamped by the slightly under-ripe mango, and any Halcyon flavours, so powerful in the source brew, are almost completely drowned out by the near sweetness of the mango juice.

Remember when you first tasted an Amarillo beer? You could impress your mates by asking ‘can you taste grapefruit?’ – well those days are gone as more complex flavour combinations are coming through. Yes the Amarillo and Citra hops complement the grapefruit peel, but the Mosaic and Simcoe hops add a rewarding complexity.
